PowerPlay advances the lives of girls through sports – helping them grow physically, emotionally and academically stronger. Their programming focuses on teaching girls fundamental skills in a variety of sports so they become confident in their athletic abilities and enjoy playing.

The initial PowerPlay logo had been developed almost 20 years ago and took on an aesthetic that was popular at the time. Although the branding had reflected a “sporty” look, our approach was to add the feeling of belonging to something bigger than the individual and to include the common idea in sports of “team.”
Utilizing the concept of a crest / collegiate emblem, Pulse Creative created a logo to signify a shared place, a common foundation and a source of support. A modern and timeless font was chosen to represent strength within, embracing each girl’s unique self and resiliency.

PowerPlay’s previous digital presence was no longer able to accommodate their brand’s mission and key values, along with other features they wanted to showcase online. Pulse Creative created an impactful user experience that engages the audience through various types of content including videos, infographics for relevant statistics and galleries for numerous events they coordinate. The new website build also allows PowerPlay to update content on their own when necessary including recent news and programs.

Pulse Creative designed various collateral that included gala invites, event programs and environmental signage to help PowerPlay reach their incredible supporters and special guests for an unforgettable night.
